Detectives are seeking any witnesses to a hit and run to a pedestrian that occurred last week. On July 6th, at about 1:30 PM, a 22 year old female was struck down and run over by an SUV in the South Park neighborhood. It is believed that the incident occurred in the area of 14th Avenue South and South Donovan Street, although it may have occurred several blocks either north or south of that intersection. After the incident, the lone male driver of the SUV fled the area. Unfortunately,detectives do not have the color, make and model of the SUV . The female victim staggered back to her residence in South Park where a friend called 911. The victim was transported to Harborview with non life threatening injuries. There may have been an altercation between the victim and the driver just prior.
