Four people shot, one fatally, in South Seattle

On July 13th at approximately 10:59 p.m. officers responded to a call of shots fired with four people down in the 9600 block of 54th Avenue South.  Preliminary investigation indicates that two female victims (victims #1 and #2) were sitting in a car parked at the curb.  A male victim (victim #3) was sitting in a separate car also parked at the curb.  Another male victim (victim #4) was believed to be sitting on the hood of yet another parked car on the opposite side of the street.  

The suspect approached the area on foot and shot all four victims.  He then fled the scene on foot and remains at large.

The suspect is described as a black male, 6’1″ tall with a stocky build and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt. 

Victim #1, a 19-year-old female, was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene by SFD medics.  Victim #2, a 16-year-old female, was shot in the left arm and upper right leg.  Victim #3, a 21-year-old male, was shot in the abdomen and in a finger.  Victim #4, a 17-year-old male, was shot in the lower right leg. 

SFD medics transported victims #2, #3, and #4 to Harborview Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.

Homicide, Gang and CSI detectives responded to the scene and continue to actively investigate.
