North Seattle burglary, suspect caught

On July 19th, just before 9:00 PM, North Precinct officers were dispatched to a burglary in progress in the 13500 Block of Aurora Avenue North.  A witnesses had called 911 to report seeing a male break in to a back door of the business and then enter.  Officers arrived quickly and were setting up containment when the suspect emerged from inside the store.  He was  taken into custody.  Officers and a K9 cleared the building.  No other suspects were located.  It appears that the suspect, a 24 year old, had used a baseball bat to break out the glass door and enter.  He was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
