Bank robbery in Lake City

On July 22nd, at approximately 11:18 AM, North Precinct officers responded to a report of a bank robbery in the 2800 Block of NE 125th Street.  The suspect was described as a white male in his 20’s, wearing a white ball cap, a yellow jacket, and what appeared to be a fake beard.  A gun was implied during the robbery.  After the robbery, witnesses believed they saw the suspect enter a nearby condo complex.  Officers and detectives responded to that location and determined that the suspect had not entered the building but instead got into a waiting car, described as a white or silver compact car.  Detectives will now handle the follow up investigation.
