Burglary in South Seattle, suspects at large

On July 28th at approximately 10:04 a.m. the victim was in a downstairs apartment in the 3900 block of 46th Avenue South when she heard footsteps upstairs.  The victim became scared and sent a text to her boyfriend as she was afraid the suspects would hear her talking.  The boyfriend called police and officers arrived quickly.

The first officer on scene parked his patrol car near the house and walked in.  He saw three suspects leaving the house carrying stolen property.  The officer ordered the suspects to stop however, the suspects failed to comply.  Two of the suspects fled in a white Cadillac 2-door.  The third suspect ran northbound then southbound through Genesee Park.  He was not located.  Officers observed the suspect vehicle northbound on Lake Washington Boulevard South at a high rate of speed but did not engage in a pursuit.  All three suspects remain at large.

Officers proceeded to search the house to ensure there were no other suspects on the premise.  The house was empty.

Burglary detectives responded and assisted in processing the scene.
