This past January, a 55 year old male suspect picked up a 27 year old female victim in the 300 block of 8th Avenue North. After receiving a sex act from the victim the suspect stabbed her in the hip and arm with a knife. The suspect then stole the woman’s purse and money.
In March, the same suspect picked up a 28 year old female victim in the same area as before. This time the suspect stabbed the victim in the leg with a screwdriver and stole money from her. The victim described the screwdriver as a red handled screwdriver.
Vice and High Risk Victims Unit detectives interviewed both victims and developed information during the course of their investigation as to the identity of the suspect.
Detectives prepared a search warrant for the suspect’s Bellevue residence and on August 2nd, South Anti-Crime Team officers served the search warrant. The suspect was arrested without incident and booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery.
