On August 3rd, just before 9:00 PM, members of the West Precinct Anti-Crime Team (ACT) were conducting a narcotics surveillance operation in the area of Pioneer Square. Two individuals were observed making narcotics transactions during this operation and were arrested. One individual, 28, was arrested for Drug Traffic Loitering. During the search incident to arrest, he voluntarily handed over 2.5 grams of crack cocaine. He was also carrying $305 on his person, which was seized by officers. The other individual, 30, was arrested for Drug Traffic Loitering. When he was contacted, officers recovered 13.2 grams of crack cocaine and seized $645 from the suspect. In a short amount of time, the operation netted two dealers, 15.7 grams of crack cocaine, and $950 seized. Both suspects were later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of VUCSA-Possession with Intent.
