Car jacking in South Seattle

On October 6th, at approximately 9:30 pm, South Precinct officers responded to a report of an armed carjacking in the 6200 Block of South Ryan Street.  The victim stated that he had just pulled into the driveway of the family home with his two year old son, when he was confronted by two unknown males wearing bandanas over their faces.  One of the suspects was armed with a handgun and pointed it at the victim, demanding the car.  The victim was able to grab his son before handing over the keys and run into the house, where he called 911. Neither the victim or his son were injured during this encounter.  The suspects were described as black males, one with a blue bandana covering his face.   The suspects fled the scene in the victim’s car, described as a 2002 silver Mercedes C320, with Washington license plate 701WTR.

If anyone sees this vehicle, do not approach and call 911 immediately.  Robbery detectives will handle the follow up investigation.
