On November 13th, at approximately 8:41 pm, North Precinct officers responded to the 13200 Block of Aurora Avenue North for a report of an armed robbery to a citizen. Officers contacted the victim who stated that he was approached by a male armed with a handgun in the parking lot and robbed of his cash. The suspect then fled in a vehicle. The victim followed the suspect car to the 2300 Block of NE Northgate Way. Officers responded to that location and found two suspects, a male and a female, inside the suspect vehicle. The suspects were taken into custody after the victim positively identified the male suspect. The female was interviewed and released and the adult male was later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Robbery. No handgun was recovered, but the suspect vehicle was impounded for further processing.
