On November 29th at approximately 3:45 p.m. officers responded to the report of a strong arm robbery on board a Metro bus near 23rd Avenue South and South Jackson Street. Preliminary investigation indicates that the victim was riding on the bus when an unknown suspect grabbed the i-phone from the victim’s hands. The suspect exited the bus and fled the scene on foot heading southbound. Responding officers conducted an area search but were unable to locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20’s, approximately 5’11”, 270 pounds with short curly hair and wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
Anyone with information about this incident or who may know the identity or whereabouts of the suspect is asked to call 911 or Seattle Police and refer to this incident. Anonymous tips are welcome.
