Just before Thanksgiving, the Seattle Police Department’s Vice/High Risk Victims Unit conducted a “John” sting operation in Seattle. During the operation, six adult males responded to posts on Backpage.com. After initial phone contact, the suspects responded to the operation location and were placed under arrest after offering and agreeing to a sex act for money.
Separately, an adult female was contacted via the phone number she had posted on Backpage.com. After responding to the operation location, she was placed under arrest after offering and agreeing to a sex act for money.
All suspects were positively identified at the scene and released pending charges.
