On November 21st, at approximately 6:30 pm, two South Seattle businesses in the 7100 Block of Martin Luther King Jr. Way South were robbed by three suspects. The three suspects, described as black males, possibly East African, were wearing tightly-cinched hoods, forced their way into the businesses armed with a handgun.
According to the clerks, at least one of the suspects was seen with a small silver handgun. The suspects stole cash, as well as some cell phones, from the two businesses housed in the same building. After the robbery, the suspects fled. It is possible that there may have been a fourth suspect coordinating the robbery while on a cell phone from inside a neighboring business. He was described as a black male with long black hair under a bright red baseball cap (shown in photo).
Robbery detectives obtained surveillance footage from inside one of the businesses. If anyone recognizes the descriptions of any of the suspects, or they beleive they may have information on this case, they are asked to contact the Seattle Police Robbery detectives at (206) 684-5535.
