Cab driver robbed- Do you know this suspect?

On January 10th, at approximately 4:00 am, the victim/cab driver called 911 to report that he had just been robbed at gunpoint by a fare in the 1900 Block of Airport Way South.  The driver told officers that he had picked up the fare at a motel in Tukwila.  The fare asked to be driven to one location in South Seattle, then changed his mind and asked to be dropped off on Airport Way South.  When the cab arrived, the driver informed the suspect what the fare was.  The suspect handed the driver a $20 bill. The driver informed him that $20 was not enough.  The suspect then pulled out a large, black semi-automatic handgun and demanded his money back.  The suspect put his gun up against the driver’s head.  The driver handed back the money, and the suspect got out of the cab and fled on foot northbound on Airport Way South, then east under the Holgate Street Bridge.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, in his 30’s.  He did have a gun.  Below is a photo of the suspect.  Anyone with information on this crime or the suspect is asked to contact the Seattle Police Department Robbery Unit at (206) 684-5535.  This is an active and on going investigation.
