Strong Arm Robbery in South Seattle

On February 3rd at approximately 10:34 p.m. officers responded to the area of MLK Jr. Way South and South Alaska Street for the report of a robbery.  Preliminary investigation indicates that the 17-year-old male victim was walking east from MLK and S. Alaska Street when he was approached by a juvenile female suspect.  The suspect took the victim’s hat off his head and said she had a gun and a knife and would use them if he tried to stop her.  The suspect then fled east on S. Alaska Street toward Rainier Avenue South.

Officers conducted an area search but were unable to locate the suspect.  The victim was not injured.

This remains an active and on-going investigation.
