On February 10th officers from the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Squad inspected seven commercial trucks while working the areas of East Marginal Way South and South Hanford Street.
The following violations were documented:
Windshield – 1
Conspicuity – 2
Bill of Lading – 1
Inoperative Turn Signal – 1
Brake Connection, Air Leak – 1
Marking – 1
Expired Tonnage – 1
Railroad Crossing Violation – 3
Air Hose – 2
Unsecured Load (container) – 1
No Proof of Insurance – 1
One driver was cited for a seatbelt violation.
The documented violations will be forwarded to the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and will count as “strikes” against the company, the driver and the carrier.
