On March 2nd, at approximately 3:38 am, South Precinct officers responded to the 7500 Block of Renton Avenue South with the Seattle Fire Department on a report of an apartment fire. The on scene investigation by the Seattle Fire Department’s Fire Marshall determined that this fire was intentionally set. The apartment was unoccupied and undergoing renovations. The damage was contained to just the one unit, and no other units were affected. Arson/Bomb Squad detectives also responded to the scene and will handle the follow up investigation.
