On March 25th at approximately 1:34 a.m. there was a large gathering at a night club in the 7000 block of East Marginal Way South. Several groups of males in the parking lot got into a verbal altercation. At one point, three male suspects got into a white Suburban SUV and one gunshot was fired as they exited the parking lot (nobody was hit or injured by the gunshot and no property damage was located).
Officers working the area observed the shot being fired and broadcast the information over police radio. Another officer responding to the location located the fleeing Suburban and stopped it in one of Boeing’s parking lots.
All three suspects were arrested and transported to the South Precinct where they were interviewed by Gang Unit detectives.
A handgun was recovered from the parking lot just inside the entrance. The suspect vehicle was impounded and taken to the evidence garage for further investigation.
After being interviewed, the two 19-year-old male suspects were booked into the King County Jail. The one 17-year-old male suspect was booked into the Youth Service Center (juvenile detention).
Gang Unit detectives continue to actively investigate.
