An unoccupied house in the South Park neighborhood had recently been burglarized where the suspects had stolen wire. On May 18th, the house’s representative had replaced the wiring and boarded up the point of entry the previous thieves had used. At approximately 4:30 pm, Southwest Precinct officers were in the area on a different theft call when they observed two suspects in the alley behind that house in the 700 Block of South Sullivan Street. The two men had in their possession what appeared to be fresh wire stripped from a house. Officers detained the two and were able to verify with the house representative that the house had indeed been broken into again, and that the wire in the suspect’s possession was the same wiring that had just been installed. The two suspects, men, ages 31 and 46, were arrested and later booked into the King County Jail for Investigation of Burglary.
