A 70-year-old man was tied up during a burglary-turned-robbery at a Beacon Hill home Friday afternoon.
Around 1:30 pm, the victim heard noises at the back of the house—near 12th Avenue S. and S. Nevada Street—and found two black males, both in their 40s, inside the home.
The victim tried to fight the suspects, who pulled a knife and overpowered the victim, bound his hands, and left him in a bedroom as they ransacked the house.
The 70-year-old man’s granddaughter came home shortly after 2 pm, found him in the bedroom, and called 911.
Medics treated the victim at the scene for cuts on his hands sustained during his struggle with the suspects.
Police are still trying to determine if the suspects took anything during the incident.
