A passerby walking through an empty field behind a restaurant in North Seattle discovered a man lying face down in the grass. On 7/9/2012, at approximately 8:30 p.m., the complainant called 911 to report a death.
The citizen discovered the victim behind the Chinese restaurant at 10119 Aurora Ave N. in a vacant lot. Seattle Fire Engine 21 responded to the scene and confirmed that the victim, a 45- year-old man, was dead.
Out of an abundance of caution, Homicide Detectives responded and processed the scene. There were no signs of foul play found at the scene. This is a death investigation pending autopsy results from the King County Medical Examiner.
