At about 12:10 am, a Toyota Camry driven by a man in his fifties, was travelling in the 9200 Block of Holman Road NW when it struck a man in his twenties crossing the road. The pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries and was treated by Seattle Fire Department Medics, who transported the man to Harborview Medical Center. Officers at the scene evaluted the driver at the scene for any sign of intoxication, but none were detected. Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) responded and began their investigation. That portion of Holman Road NW was closed for a time while detectives conducted their investigation, but has since reopened. The driver was interviewed and released pending the investigation. This remains an active and on-going investigation.
