Fight in Magnolia, man has severe cut to his arm when it when through a window

Today around 12:30 pm, West Precinct officers responded to the area around Magnolia Village for a reported assault, possibly involving a knife.  Upon arrival officers were able to determine that there was no stabbing, but rather the suspect/victim was injured severely when his arm went through a window.  This fight was between two men, possibly over a woman, in the alley just north of the 3100 Block of West McGraw Street.  Witnesses told officers that the man who cut his arm yelled out that he had been stabbed, which prompted the 911 call of a possible stabbing.  It was determined that there was no knife involved, rather, during the fight he was pushed into a window where he cut his arm.

Seattle Fire Department Medics responded and transported the man to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of the significant cut.  The suspect/victim was uncooperative with officers at the scene, and remained uncooperative at the hospital when pressed for details.

The other man in  the fight, the uninjured suspect, was located near his house after fleeing the scene.  He was taken into custody and later booked into the King County Jail for fighting.
