Homicide detectives have arrested a 22-year-old Renton man in the investigation into the fatal stabbing of another man after a fight outside a Belltown nightclub on October 26th.
Around 1:30 am Friday morning, the victim—also in his 20s—got into a fight with four men outside Tia Lou’s, near 1st Avenue and Bell Street.
Following the fight, the victim walked down the street to his car, parked in a lot just north of Bell Street.
One of the suspects followed the victim into the lot, stabbed him in the chest, and then fled the scene in a light-colored truck.
The victim later died from his wounds.
Detectives were able to identify one of suspects a day after the incident, and arrested him Monday morning. Detectives are still looking for other suspects in the case.
Police have received some video of the suspects from the public, and are hoping any other witnesses who may have filmed the incident will forward footage to police.
