One window of the Seattle Municipal Courthouse was shattered by pellet gunfire Monday morning, and police are now investigating.
Shortly after 11 am, an employee at the courthouse—located at 5th Avenue and James Street—was sitting at her desk when she heard a pinging sound and a loud bang, before the window next to her shattered.
Officers arrived and found that four windows on the south side of the Municipal Court building had been damaged by pellet gunfire. Only one of the windows— which are about 30 feet above street level—shattered.
No one was injured in the incident.
