Robbery suspect arrested in North Seattle motel parking lot

A suspect detectives have been searching for was arrested last night after investigators received information that he was staying at a motel in North Seattle.

David Hansen, 25, was the suspect detectives were attempting to arrest earlier this week on 29th Avenue South when he fled from officers.  He was wanted in connection with at least two robberies.  Last night, at around 10:45 pm, information was received that Hansen was staying at a motel in the 9100 Block of Aurora Avenue North.  His name and photo had been featured here on the Blotter, as well as local media.  Members of the North Precinct Anti-Crime Team (ACT) responded to the motel and located Hansen in the parking lot.  He was arrested before he had a chance to run.  He was transported to the Robbery Unit office, where he was interviewed by detectives.  He was later booked into the King County Jail for the felony robbery and a Department of Corrections warrant.

Detectives will continue to follow up on this case.
