A man is in custody for investigation of homicide pertaining to a suspicious death investigation from September 20th, 2011.
Officers were dispatched to the original call of a death investigation at The Greenlake/Oak Tree Motel in the 8900 block of Aurora Avenue North on September 20th, 2011 at approximately 11:59 a.m. The victim was a 61-year-old male at the time of death. Based on their preliminary on-scene investigation, patrol officers called homicide detectives to the scene. Homicice detectives investigated the case as a suspicious death.
During the course of the investigation detectives developed probable cause to arrest the 54-year-old male suspect for investigation of homicide on April 6th, 2013. The suspect has since been booked into the King County Jail.
