Two men were shot last night in the 4800 Block of South Austin Street. Both of the victims have been taken to Harborview Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting around 11:30 pm last night in the 4800 Block of South Austin. One of the victims was located near the intersection of South Austin and Rainier Avenue South. The other victim was able to run to Rainier Avenue South and South Fontanelle where he was able to flag down a passing Seattle Police officer. Both victims were transported to Harborview via Seattle Fire Department medics.
Detectives from the Homicide and Assault Unit responded and are actively investigating this incident. This is all the information we have at this point, there may be additional information later today.
