Detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad (TCIS) were called out early this morning to investigate a serious hit and run collision to three pedestrians following a fight that began on the Argosy cruise ship.
At about 1:45 this morning, a large group of party goers were involved in the disturbance which spilled out onto the street where the boat was docked, at Fairview and Blaine. At one point, a male suspect got into his vehicle parked on Blaine, backed up, struck a parked car, and then drove recklessly west on Blaine, hitting three pedestrians who were on the corner of Fairview and Blaine. The suspect vehicle is described only as an SUV with a possible shattered back window. It was last seen driving southbound on Fairview Avenue East without stopping.
Seattle Fire treated the three adult pedestrians at the scene and then transported them to Harborview Medical Center with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Officers searched for the suspect vehicle but did not locate it.
TCIS detectives responded and processed the scene. This remains an active and on-going TCIS investigation.
