Two 15-year-old burglary suspects were caught inside Aki Kurose Middle School with multiple stolen laptops after tripping the alarms inside the school around 12:30 this morning.
Officers responded to reports of multiple burglary alarm trips inside the school in the 3900 Block of South Graham Street. When officers arrived, they could see two people inside the closed and locked school building on the first floor. Officers contained the building and contacted the two suspects as they walked out of the school on the southwest side of the building. Both of the young men had multiple stolen laptops in their cases in their possession. The young men were taken into custody without incident. They were later booked into the Youth Services Center for Investigation of Burglary after their parents were notified.
Detectives will handle the follow up investigation.
