Man suffered non-threatening injuries following stabbing in North Seattle

A man was stabbed mutliple times but refused to cooperate with officers. On 9/30/13, just shortly after 6:00 p.m., officers responded to a report of a stabbing. Officers arrived on scene and found the victim on the sidewalk in the 4500 block of University Way NE. He was bleeding and said that he had been been stabbed.

The victim first said the suspect was a Hispanic male. He then the told officers the suspect was a Black male. The victim refused to provide a statement. He appeared intoxicated and in need of mental health services.

The victim stated that the stabbing occurred near the Jack-In-The-Box at 50th NE/University Way NE. Officers located a blood trail from that location but did not locate any other evidence or witnesses.

Seattle Fire responded and treated the victim on scene. He was later transported to HMC with non-life threatening injuries via AMR.
