A man remains at large this evening after stabbing another man near Victor Steinbrueck Park this evening.
At approximately 5:53 p.m. officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1900 block of Western Avenue. Officers located an adult male in his 20’s near the edge of the park with multiple stab wounds to his torso and one stab wound to his leg. As officers and medics attempted to assist the man he became physically combative and resisted the help of the first responders. He was subsequently transported to Harborview Medical Center by medics for treatment of his non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers conducted an area search for the other involved man however, he remains at large.
Officers continue to actively investigate.
