Two people rescued from freezing waters this morning in North Seattle

Two people taken to Harborview Medical Center for possible hypothermia.  This morning just shortly before 4:00 a.m., two people fell off a 40 ft. boat in Shilshole bay and were unable to re-board. They remained in the water for sometime before friends decided to call 911.

The two victims stayed afloat by hanging on to ropes and life jackets that were thrown to them. A Harbor patrol unit was dispatched, as was the U.S Coastguard. The two victims were rescued and transported to Harborview Medical Center for treatment of possible hypothermia.
