Detectives are actively investigating a deliberately set car fire that occurred in North Seattle last night. At approximately 9:22 p.m. officers responded to a car fire in the 9700 block of Palatine Avenue North. Fire department personnel responded and put out the fire. Further investigation indicated that the vehicle’s interior appeared to have been deliberately set on fire and was completely destroyed. The suspect(s) remain at large.
Nobody was injured in the incident and no other property appears to have been damaged.
Seattle Police Arson/Bomb Squad detectives will have responsibility for the active and on-going investigation.
