Gang detectives are investigating a shooting that occurred last night at South Henderson Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South that left a 17-year old male with gunshot wounds to his chest, arm and buttocks.
South Precinct patrol officers responded to reports of shots fired last night just before midnight at that location. When they arrived, they located the victim. Seattle Fire Department treated the victim and transported him to Harborview Medical Center. The victim did not provide police with any information about the shooting. Detectives from the Gang Unit responded and began their investigation. Two shell casings were located and collected for evidence. Detectives will continue to follow up on this shooting.
