A 32-year-old man sustained a non life threatening gunshot wound to his arm just before 1:00 this morning in the 7400 Block of Rainier Avenue South.
South Precinct officers responded to several reports of shots fired in the area. One call reported a man down in front of a business in the 7400 Block of Rainier with a gunshot wound to his arm. Officers located the man and called the Seattle Fire Department. The man had a gunshot wound to his right bicep. He gave officers several varying accounts of what happened. The man was transported to the hospital for treatment. Officers did locate several shell casings in the 4800 Block of South Fontanelle, and found blood in the parking lot of a business in the 7400 Block of Rainier Avenue South. Detectives from the Gang Unit responded.
