Seattle police arrested a 34-year-old woman Tuesday morning after she bit a man who had discovered her breaking into his South Park home.
Just after 10:30 AM, police received a 911 call from one of the roommates, who said he and his roommate had a burglar pinned to the ground outside their home.
The man told officers he had been sitting in the home—in the 800 block of S. Southern St.—when he heard the front door open. Several dogs in the home went running for the door, so the man followed them and found a woman standing just inside his front entryway.
When the man shouted for the woman to leave and began pushing her out the door, the woman bit the man on his arm—hard enough to leave a mark. The man grabbed ahold of her and yelled for his roommate to “get the stun gun,” which they used on the woman. However, even after being stunned, the woman continued to struggle with the men in an apparent effort to flee the scene.
Officers arrived and arrested the woman—who, it turns out, had unlocked a complicated gate in order to get to the home—and booked her into the King County Jail for burglary and assault.
