A man was struck by a burglar’s vehicle as the suspect fled the crime scene. On 3/19/14, just shortly before 8:00 p.m., the complainant called 9-1-1 and reported seeing one or possibly two males casing his neighbor’s house in the 4500 block of S Kenny Street. The complainant and some of the other neighbors including the victim watched the suspect (s) for a period of time and heard glass breaking at their neighbor’s home.
Apparently entry was not made into the house. As officers were responding to the scene, the call was updated with information that one of the neighbor’s was struck by the suspect vehicle which was fleeing the scene. When officers arrived they found the victim and another neighbor at Rainier Av S and S Kenny St where the victim was struck by the suspect’s car.
The victim was taken to HMC by Medic One with non-life threatening injuries. Officers processed the scene and gathered evidence.
The suspect is described as a Black male, 20’s, wearing a black hat, black and grey hoodie and black pants.
The suspect’s vehicle is described as a Grey Honda CRV Suv unknown plate/ damage to passenger side windshield.
