Man Says He Was Carjacked After Stopping For Street Dancers

Robbery detectives are investigating a curious carjacking after a bruised and bloodied man called police shortly after midnight Tuesday and said he’d been robbed after stopping for several dancing women on a South Seattle street.

The victim told officers he was driving his 2001 BMW convertible down S. Juneau Street and Lake Washington Boulevard S. around midnight, when an Asian man and two Asian women crossed the street in front of his car.

After the victim stopped his car, and the women began dancing in front of his vehicle. Their male accomplice then walked up to driver’s side of the victim’s top-down convertible and began pistol whipping the victim.

The victim said he blacked out and woke up to see all three suspects driving off in his car.

The victim was left with cuts and bruises on his face, head, and hands following the incident, but declined a ride to the hospital. Officers transported the victim home.
