Officers responded to 7Ave S and S Main St for reports of a stabbing.
At 12:50 today officers responded to a 911 call of a stabbing near 7 Ave S and S Main St. When officers arrived they located a 62- year- old male who had been stabbed in the shoulder and abdomen. The victim was uncooperative and refused to provide information regarding the attack. The victim had serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Harborview Medical Center for further treatment.
Witnesses described the suspect as a black male, 6 foot- 6’2 tall, short hair, clean shaven, wearing a long sleeve beige shirt and dark pants. The machete he was carrying had a silver blade with a decorative red handle.
An area check for the suspect was unsuccessful.
