(UPDATED) Detectives Identify Second Suspect In Central District Double Murder

Update 7/18/14: Ali Muhammed Brown was taken into custody by authorities in West Orange, New Jersey this afternoon.

Update 6/12/14: Police continue to search for Ali Muhammed Brown after serving a search warrant Thursday afternoon at a Bitter Lake apartment complex near N. 130th Street and Aurora Avenue N.  Detectives did not find Brown at the scene, but did recover evidence they believe will assist in their investigation, as they continue their search for him. Seattle police have identified a second suspect in the June 1st murder of two young men in the Central District and are now seeking the public’s help locating him.

Ali Muhammed Brown is a black male, 5’9, 190 pounds, with brown eyes. Brown is 30-years-old and believed to be a transient, who has previously frequented the South King County area.

If you see Brown or know where police can find him, please call 911 or the SPD Homicide Tip Line at (206) 233-5000 immediately, and use extreme caution as detectives believe he is armed and dangerous.

Detectives are still working to identify any other possible suspects in the case.
