Seattle Police officers arrested a 52-year-old man on Sunday who’s suspected of burglarizing a Pioneer Square bar and stealing thousands of dollars in booze and cash last week.
The suspect was caught after officers were called to deal with a trespasser found sleeping in the lobby of an apartment building in the 400 block of 15 Ave. E. early Sunday morning. The man was arrested on warrants not associated with the burglaries, but once taken to jail for booking was identified from surveillance photos as the booze burglar.
Detectives had earlier released a set of photos taken by surveillance cameras that showed a man with a bandaged face and a distinctive tattoo on his arm.
