A 22-year-old man told police he was pistol-whipped and had his cell phone and backpack stolen in the Georgetown area Sunday night.
The victim told police he was walking on 1st Avenue South, near the intersection with South Lucile Street, around 11 p.m. when he was approached by two men who pistol whipped him in the face and robbed him.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center where he was treated for a broken nose and possible head injuries. The suspects were seen driving a blue pickup truck with a white or beige stripe down the middle.
