Man in Stolen Car Arrested at Home Full of Purloined Goods

Seattle police officers last week arrested a man who was living in a Mt. Baker home without permission and using it to store items apparently stolen from cars.

Officers arrived at the home, in the 3300 block of South Dose Terrace, about 11:30 a.m. on Sept. 12 to meet with the property owner and check inside the house. While officers were at the home, the suspect who’d been living there drove up in a stolen black Infinity. He was promptly handcuffed.

Inside the home, officers found three bags filled with items including MP3 players and women’s purses–the types of things typically stolen in car prowls. The suspect was arrested and booked into King County Jail for investigation of stolen property. The stolen Infinity was claimed by its owner.
