A 52-year-old man was killed Thursday afternoon after getting hit by a van in the Delridge neighborhood.
The victim was crossing Southwest Brandon Street at the intersection with Delridge Way Southwest shortly after 4 PM when he was struck. Medics took him to Harborview Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.
Traffic Collision detectives responded to the scene and are investigating the incident. The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with police.
