Detectives have tied a group of North Seattle high schoolers arrested in a stolen car Monday to a string of recent break-ins at auto dealerships.
Patrol officers arrested the three teen suspects Monday morning after spotting them driving around Lake City in a car stolen from a dealership in Edmonds, WA. Officers arrested the three teens after a brief chase and turned them over to auto theft detectives. After interviewing the teens, police were also able to recover seven other cars stolen from the same Edmonds dealership.
Police are still investigating the teens, but believe the same group may also be connected recent break-ins and car thefts at a Lake City dealership.
