Officers arrested two teenage boys Monday after they kicked in the back door of a home in the Dunlap neighborhood and stole some jewelry.
The boys broke into a home in the 9100 block of Spear Place South around noon. A neighbor saw them and called police. Officers arrived quickly and spotted the teenagers as they were fleeing the home. The teens were arrested after a short foot chase.
Police found jewelry stolen in the burglary after it fell out of one suspects’ pockets, onto the backseat of a patrol car. The teens were booked into the King County Youth Service Center for the burglary.
