Police have arrested both suspects from a New Year’s Eve drive-by shooting that left one man dead.
Seattle Homicide detectives, with the assistance of U.S. Marshals tracked down the two suspects, 19 and 22-years-old, to Tacoma where they were arrested Friday afternoon.
Detectives from Homicide, CSI and Gangs worked closely with prosecutors and community members during the investigation eventually developing probable cause for the arrests.
Detectives interviewed the two men and later booked them into King County Jail on investigation of Homicide.
Additionally, officers have arrested three suspects in connection with a recent spate of drive-by shootings in Southeast Seattle.
Prosecutors charged all three with investigation of drive-by shooting and issued arrest warrants for the 16, 17 and 19-year-old suspects.
Officers and detectives have located and arrested all three suspects over the past two days.
Detectives have interviewed and booked the two juveniles and one adult into the Youth Service Center and King County Jail respectively on the drive-by shooting warrants.
