Police are working to identify two masked suspects who shot and wounded a man in an apparent robbery Monday evening in the Central District.
Officers were called to the 100 block of 27th Ave shortly before 5 PM after receiving reports of gunfire. At the scene, police found a 20-year-0ld male with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to the back. Medics transported the man with to Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
After speaking briefly with the victim, police believe he may have been the target of a robbery.
Police are still gathering information about the incident and the suspects, who have only been described by witnesses as two black males, wearing all black clothing and ski masks, last seen running from the scene.
