(Update) Seattle Police Investigating a Possible Drug Lab in North Seattle

After donning the appropriate protective gear, firefighters entered the home, which contained the suspected drug lab. Firefighters found a 30-year-old man unconscious inside the home. The man was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers reopened 15 Ave Northeast to traffic shortly before 9 P.M. Detectives are still on scene as the investigation continues.


Police are investigating what appears to be an active meth lab in a home after being notified by firefighters Tuesday afternoon.

Firefighters were called to the 13300 block of 15 Ave Northeast for a medical call when they discovered the possible meth production site. Police arrived at theĀ scene and evacuated the sole additional occupant of the building.

Detectives are responding to the scene to lead theĀ investigation. Officers are blocking 15 Ave Northeast between NE 130 Street and NE 135 Street during the investigation out of an abundance of caution.

Police will work with the Washington State Patrol Crime Lab and the Seattle Fire Hazmat Team to safely dispose of any dangerous materials.
