Detectives are searching for two suspects after a home invasion robbery Friday evening sent one man to the hospital.
Officers were called to the 10500 block of Dayton Ave. North just after 5:30 PM Friday when two men reported a home invasion robbery. The victims told officers that two masked men barged into their home, held them at gunpoint, zip-tied their hands, and then searched the home for cash.
One of the victims fought back, causing the suspect to fire his gun. The bullet missed him, but then the suspect attacked him with an unidentified object causing serious injuries.
The suspects eventually fled the scene giving the victims a chance to free themselves and call police.
Medics transported the injured victim to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. Robbery detectives are now working with the victims as they continue the investigation. If you have any information in this case please call (206)625-5011.
